The
Diamond Star is a four passenger, low wing, VFR &
IFR aircraft that can travel approximately 450 nm before
needing to refuel. The Diamond Star features a stick
control device rather than the standard yoke design
found on Cessnas and Pipers and a technically advanced
glass cockpit. It cruises around 145 kts / 166 mph and
works well as a business travel aircraft due its speed.
The Diamond Star comes standard with a moving map GPS
and large glass PFD and MFD displays which show other
aircraft in the surrounding area on the GPS.
