The
Cessna 172S is an advanced technology four passenger
VFR & IFR aircraft that can travel approximately
600 nm before needing to refuel. It cruises around 120
kts / 135 mph and works well as an entry level trainer
due to its simplicity and cost. Most private pilot and
instrument students find the ergonomic advances of the
172S outweigh the slightly less expensive 172N models.
